In Illinois, your new Hyundai needs to be registered within 20 days. Before the IL car registration can be completed, you must get auto insurance. Then you'll go to the local SOS often to submit various documents such as:

●       An Application for Vehicle Transaction

●       Name and addresses of lienholders

●       Payment for registration and tax fees

●       The vehicle's title
