If you have both of these things, you can begin to connect your phone.

To connect your phone to Android Auto will need to connect your Android phone using a USB cable to the infotainment system. Shortly after this, your phone might ask you to download or update certain apps, like Google Maps. After that, you will want to accept the terms of use and review the safety information and allow the connection. You will know your phone is connected when there is an Android Auto icon on the touch-screen infotainment system.
