Your favorite Hyundai dealership is excited to share what we know about the 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and all trim levels of this great SUV. Only a few packaging changes were made to the 2023 Hyundai Tucson after a thorough makeover for the 2022 model year. The Premium package's components have been included as standard features to lower trim levels in place of the Premium package, which was formerly exclusive to the SEL model. For instance, the larger 10.3-inch infotainment screen is now standard on all XRT levels and higher, and the panoramic sunroof is now available as standard on the N-Line trim.

A 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 187 horsepower, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and either front- or all-wheel drive will serve as the base powerplant. A turbocharged 1.6-liter four will be utilized to power the hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, with the former producing a combined 226 horsepower and the latter 261 horsepower. The electrified powertrains come with a six-speed automatic transmission and must be driven with all four wheels.

Non-hybrid Tucson models with front-wheel drive should achieve up to 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The plug-in hybrid model scored an impressive 80 MPGe combined and provided 33 miles of electric-only driving in the EPA test. The hybrid has fuel economy estimates as high as 38 mpg city and 38 mpg highway.


Interior, Infotainment, and Connectivity

The Hyundai Tucson 2023 interior has a simple yet beautiful dashboard with a digital gauge display, a push-button shifter, and a touch-sensitive infotainment control panel. The Tucson offers better passenger comfort and functionality than the preceding model because of its larger cargo and rear seat spaces.


Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are embedded into the dashboard's standard 8.8-inch touchscreen; a bigger 10.3-inch screen with built-in navigation and extras like SiriusXM satellite radio and a better Bose sound system are available. Hyundai's smartphone app for its digital key, which offers remote start functionality and can be used to lock and unlock its doors
