The hybrid variant only has a six-speed automatic transmission, produces 226 horsepower from a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors, and includes all-wheel drive as standard.
The non-turbo four-cylinder Santa Fe gets an EPA-estimated 25 mpg on the city streets and 28 mpg on the highways and byways of Chicagoland. Ratings for the optional turbocharged variant reach 22 mpg on city streets and 28 mpg on Chicagoland's highways. As for the hybrid variant, it received EPA ratings of up to 36 mpg in the city and 31 highway mpg.
The 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe interior offers a digital gauge cluster plus head-up display, and heated rear seats.
